KIMS gets 14 more incubators

As many as 14 incubators in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubballi, was dedicated to the public.

Dattatreya Bunt, medical director of KIMS, inaugurated the facility which would help meet the increasing demand from new born children in the region.

Eighteen incubators are already available for use at the hospital and the additional ones have been provided by the District Health and Family Welfare Office, Dharwad, under the National Rural Health Mission.

Dr. Bunt said that the incubators would help tackle neo natal deaths.
