The II PU exam will begin across the State on Wednesday with the Political Science and Statistics papers. The exam will end on March 27 with the Hindi and Telugu papers.
Narasimha Nayak, Joint Director (Examinations), Department of Pre-University Education, said it was mandatory for students to bring their hall ticket and identity cards. He said that of 984 examination centres, 188 had been identified as sensitive and 70 as hypersensitive.
He also said the department had taken measures to prevent malpractice and plug paper leaks. “We have sitting squads, flying squads and taluk-level squads to ensure that the exams take place in a smooth manner,” he said.
He advised students not to pay attention to rumours.
