Hunting turns fatal

A person who entered Guddekoppa forest near Balehonnur for hunting on Friday night was found dead with a gun shot on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as Harish (38) of Magalu near Balehonnur. According to Balehonnur police, Harish had been to the forests along with three his friends – Sharath, Naveen and Umesh. Harish’s body was found on Saturday morning, while the rest have not yet returned. Local people normally hunt for wild boars in the forests nearby.

The police suspect that he died in misfiring during hunting. The police have launched a look out for the three.
