Errors seem to be cropping up regularly in the Common Entrance Test (CET). Students on Thursday — day two of the CET— reported ambiguous questions in the chemistry paper.
On the first day, typographical errors were reported in the biology paper and all the choices for one question in the mathematics paper was allegedly incorrect. A panel of experts will review the paper to see if grace marks have to be allotted.
Those who wrote the physics paper that was also held on Thursday, found it a mixed bag. While some students said it was moderately difficult, others claimed it was easy.
A press release issued by the Karnataka Examinations Authority said that of the 1.98 lakh students enrolled, about 1.92 lakh wrote the physics paper and 1.92 the chemistry paper.
The Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be conducted on Friday.
