Actor Yash asks children to be proud of city’s heritage

Actor Yash inaugurated a heritage walk here on Monday. He walked from the old city to the main gate of the Bidar Fort. Speaking on the occasion, he asked children to develop a sense of pride in the heritage of their city and district. Mr. Yash said he would like to contribute to the efforts of popularising Bidar as a tourist destination. Students of Gnyana Sudha Vidyalaya and NGO members walked with him.

The actor, who is gaining popularity for funding dredging and cleaning of lakes in north Karnataka, spoke on the importance of saving water. He asked children to stop wastage of water wherever possible. He later attended a Kannada Jagruti Yatre organised by Kannada Sahitya Parishat in Mannalli village.
