30 KSRTC bus passengers injured in mishap

Around 30 passengers of a KSRTC bus suffered injuries when the bus collided head-on with a truck near Mylahalli Gate near Arsikere on National Highway 206 early morning on Monday. The bus was going to Bengaluru from Shivamogga.

The injured are all from Shivamogga. The condition of four passengers is said to be serious. Arsikere police, with the help of local people, shifted the injured to a hospital in Arsikere and those suffered serious injuries are being shifted to Bengaluru. The passengers with minor injuries continued their travel. Arsikere Police have registered a case. Negligence of the truck driver is said to be the cause of the accident.
