Kaiga unit 3 synchronised with southern grid

The Kaiga atomic power station's unit 3, which was shutdown recently, was synchronised with the southern grid at 11.25 p.m. on Tuesday after the successful completion of all surveillance tests, according to a press release issued by J. P. Gupta, Site Director of the nuclear plant. The unit is operating at 120 MWe and it will be raised gradually. At present, all the four units of the power station are operating, says the release.
