IOC Fire: NW railway diverts 11 trains, cancels 2

North-Western Railway on Friday diverted routes of 11 trains, cancelled 2 as a precautionary measure in the wake of a massive fire which broke out at Indian Oil Corp’s fuel depot near the rail track on Jaipur-Sanganer section.

Jaipur-Shvamgarh Passenger and Jaipur-Bayana passenger have been cancelled till further order, while Sawaimadhopur-Jaipur Holiday and its return train were cancelled partially, an official spokesman said.

Bombay Central-Jaipur train, scheduled to reach at city 12:15, has been diverted and would now arrive at 1700hrs.

Similarly, Jaipur-Mumbai Central will depart at 2000 hours instead of 1400 hours, he said.

Timings of Jaipur-Jabalpur Express and Jaipur-Bandra have also been rescheduled.

Eight other trains whose routes have been changed included Mumbai-Jaipur superfast, Puri-Jodhpur Express, Bhopal-Jaipur Express, Jabalpur-Jaipur Express, Jaipur- Ernakullum, Jodhpur-Indore Intercity Express, and Ajmer-Rajendra Nagar Express.
