President’s police MedalJoint Director Rajeev Sharma, in charge of the Banking Services Fraud unit that is probing the nationalised banks’ NPA scam, has been conferred President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service along with Superintendent of Police Ajit Kumar Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Chander Garvan and Inspector Abdul Aziz.
Police Medal for Meritorious services have been awarded to Deputy Inspector-Generals Ratan Sanjay and Ravi Kant; Senior Superintendent of Police Ramnish Geer; Additional SP Anuj Arya; Deputy SPs Seema Pahuja, Nat Ram Meena and Surender Kumar Malik; Inspectors Ramesh Chand Sharma, Chandra Kiran Sharma, Manoj Kumar Dash, Jale Singh and Goutam Kumar Sagar; Sub-Inspector Anil Vasant Mhatre; Assistant Sub-Inspector Vijay Kumar Thapa; Head Constables Raj Kishore Rai, Mehboob Hasan and Basant Singh Bisht; Constables Bijender Singh and Shyambir; and Crime Assistant Shankar Das Girdhar.
