Activist Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday described the clarifications of realty major DLF on his allegations that Robert Vadra was given property at throw away prices for government favours as ‘half truths and lies’.
“DLF has issued a response. It is full of half truths and lies. A lot of information has been suppressed,” he tweeted.
“We will issue a detailed response tomorrow. But does Vadra stand by DLF response or does he have another version. Would appreciate his version,” Mr. Kejriwal said.
DLF has rejected the allegations that it had given unsecured loans to Mr. Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, as a ‘quid pro quo’ for favours and said it had transparent dealing with him as an individual entrepreneur.
In a statement on Saturday, the company had said it had given Rs. 65 crore as “business advances” out of which Rs. 15 crore was fully refunded and Rs. 50 crore was used for purchase of land.
Rejecting the allegations made by Mr. Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan that the company favoured Mr. Vadra, DLF had said it neither received any undue benefit from any state governments nor was it allotted any land by Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan governments.

.....charges on Vadra or Gadkari and learned debates on such issues.
Or that such debates on Cauvery or Telangana or even electricity tariff fixation is meaningless?
Most important, when Media gets a juicier event than Vadra-Kejriwal, everything will be forgotten and all India will watch the new saga of decay with open mouth and cynicism.
Instead of Lokpal, Jan or otherwise let us first have a Lok-Adalat.All accusations ,by law, have to be channeled only thro the Adalat and all charges shall have a proper disposal and culmination. If this body requires all other legal cases to suffer, be that be so.Let's first clear rubbish. This naturally means a punishment (NOT VERY STIFF)for frivolous accusations and a very stiff punishment for robberers and looters.
For even a second I don't want to suggest that corruption at any level should be tolerated.
But, all allegations have to be under a general code.
Have enough proof; what is enough is very abstract, but, atleast
some basis must be there.
Second,if you allege something you should not be allowed to get
away by throwing the ball at to the court of the alleged culprit
and ask him to prove his innocence.
And, most important, the person accusing some one else should not
claim that all agencies under the Govt are corrupt and hence
the person has no avenues open to reasonably prove his charges.
In the case of Vadra-Kejriwal, we find accusations are flung and
deflected by the respective parties.
As far as DLF is concerned there are much wider issues of Corporate Governance, ethics,Stutatary Auditor's role,IT implications, shareholder interest and so on.
As for as IAC it looks like hit and run in a typical Gorilla Attack. They hold very basic documents and wave it to the Media......
Too much following of Arvind Kejriwal by the media now a days, including The Hindu. This is the problem with Indian media, projecting as hero a person who illegally re-connects snapped power supplies and calling that act as satyagraha.
i never voted till date.. never got any clean profile. But now, i have a good news: I will vote for Arvind Kejriwal's team !!
You can do it Kejriwal............we are with you..
When millions of indians are lacking basic needs and alteast a full meal/day, these people are dealing in hundreds of crores. Are they going to eat the money...? (or)going to take money to heaven...? Impoverished people of india supports IAC.
The onus is upon Arvind Kejriwal to prove his allegations. Let us first see what evidence he
will present in the coming days. If he has indeed made a false allegation, he should profusely
apologize to the nation.
Claim by DLF can be accepted provided the company offers loans to all individuals who wish to buy property from the company.Else the question arises as to why only Mr Robert Vadra was selected for such loan
It is important to know the source of income for the purchase of such huge properties . Till that is clear it can not be said that the transactions are fair. Because people with very little income in business and politics are amassing massive wealth but salaried employees who have a higher income and pay more taxes are not able to amass even a fraction of that. It would be very educative to know the fair methods adopted by these business persons and politicians.
This is an attempt by Shri Kejriwal in throwing stones from a glass house. The nation knows what sort of a person he was while he was in Govt service..!! Kejriwal is on record stating that he also took a personal loan free of interest, to repay the liquidation charges to the Govt of India to get his resignation accepted. And yet he talks as though he is a person clean at heart & deeds. Why not raise a voice against leaders in other parties including BJP..?? Will he continue to maintain silence just because he gets the blessings & tacit support from the parties in the opposition..??
Not only Corrupt must punished but also there should be penal punishment for rumor mongers & why try to defame using false, half cooked data, as has happen in case of Modi, who could even answer to the activists questions about his claim of Sonia Gandhi spending public money of 1880 crores, he should also be booked for defamation. I hope the activists is still alive in Gujarat.
It is very much needed to resolve this issue of corruption which is deeply rooted in indian society. It is common in every walk of life giving and taking bribe. The roots of this corruptions are lies in the high level coporates people.its essential to address such issues on priority basis. Most of congress leades are there to defend vadra without knowing the true fact and figures. Whats going on??
Shame on such people. They even dont aware of what they are doing.
It is hard to see good news these days.Front pages are painted in corruption. There is lack of will in our minds to punish these politicians with death penalty. We need to take a leaf from Singapore,China etc and implement their policies. We need a resolve to put INDIA FIRST.
This looks to me as a clear attempt by DLF to hide the real facts. If they thought everything is above board, why then did they not come out of this statement back in March 2011 when the ET came out with a similar article/facts about DLF-Vadra links?
