BJP on Tuesday reacted strongly to Congress accusation of RSS’ links with terror, saying the ruling party was making such “outlandish” charges as it had no answer to several scams involving the government.

“The statement of Congress president is outlandish and exposes and establishes her guilt on corruption encompassing the UPA government. She has no answer to the 2-G scam, Adarsh Housing scam, Pune land scam and the Commonwealth Games scam,” BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said.

Congress had accused the RSS and its sister organisations of being involved in terrorist activities during its AICC meeeting here.

“This is a ploy to hoodwink the nation and an attempt to castigate RSS which the world knows is a nationalist organisation,” Rudy said.

The name of senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar had recently figured in the Rajasthan ATS chargesheet in the Ajmer blasts case.
