Bypoll schedule for Srinagar, Anantnag and Malappuram Lok Sabha seats out

The Election Commission on Thursday announced the schedules for byelection to three Lok Sabha and 12 Assembly seats.

The byelections to the Srinagar and the Anantnag Lok Sabha constituencies will be conducted on April 9 and 12, respectively.

In the Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency, which fell vacant after the death of IUML leader E. Ahamed, the elections will be held on April 12. The by-polls in the Radhakrishnan Nagar Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu, which was held by former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, will be conducted on April 12.
