YSRC blames TDP for raw deal to A.P.

March 02, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:53 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The YSR Congress has blamed the TDP government for neglect of the State in the Union Budget. The State government has failed to mount pressure on the Centre to keep the word given while bifurcating the State, the opposition party said. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, YSRC spokesperson Ambati Rambabu described the neglect of AP as failure of the coalition partner of the BJP-led government at the Centre. Apart from the failure to get more funds from the Centre there seemed to be a conspiracy to water down Polavaram project.

“Being a coalition partner Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has not convened any meeting with his party MPs to set the agenda for priorities of the State. Instead, he is hand-in-glove with the Centre in watering down Polavaram project by promoting Pattiseema project,” Mr. Rambabu alleged. Mr. Naidu was simply crying hoarse instead of raising voice of serious dissent, the YSRC leader said. Mr. Naidu’s tall claims of going to Delhi eight times had fallen flat as the special status issue did not materialise, the YSRC leader said .
