A Telugu Desam MP has caught the attention of fellow parliament colleagues and mediapersons with his unique protest seeking a 'better deal' for Andhra Pradesh.

N. Siva Prasad, the Lok Sabha member from Chittoor came dressed up as an occultist. Staging a protest near the Mahatma Gandhi statue, Mr. Siva Prasad enacted a 'skit' along with fellow MPs. He said "God has sent me to inform Modi to be careful," he is seen saying in the video.

The TDP parliamentarians are holding various forms of protests both inside and outside the parliament since the beginning of the Budget session.

Mr. Siva Prasad, an actor-turned-politician, earlier donned several avatars like haridasu (traditional story teller), folk singer among others.

The TDP, an ally of the ruling BJP, is upset with what it calls insufficient allocation in the Union Budget. The party is also unhappy that the Union government has not accorded the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh and haven't met the promises made by it during the bifurcation.
