The Tirumala Tirupati Devathanams (TTD) has given a set of ‘panchaloha’ idols to Sri Ramalayam at Chinakallepalli in Ghantasala mandal of the Krishna district.

The TTD presented Sri Kodanda Rama, Sita Devi, Lakshmana Swamy and Anjaneya idols recently. Earlier, the TTD presented stone idols of the same deities for the temple constructed by Podili Sarala Devi and her family members. The village had small temple a decade ago in a dilapidated condition. Ms. Sarala Devi rebuilt the temple recently. The TTD presented stone idols and installation ceremony was performed in April last year. A couple of months ago, the TTD dispatched the ‘panchaloha’ idols for organising events like procession and kalyanam. The stone idols were presented free of cost and the ‘panchaloha’ idols were given on 90 per cent subsidy, said Ms. Sarala Devi. The idols were presented under ‘Dalita Govindam’ scheme.

The temple managementmade arrangements for organising Sita Rama Kalyanam on Saturday.
