Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday visited the paediatric speciality ward in the Government-SVRR Hospital here which is currently under a cloud with 15 children dying in the last six days for a variety of reasons.
Mr. Naidu denounced the ‘gross negligence’ of the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in meeting the basic minimum requirements of one of the oldest government hospitals in the Rayalaseema region. Mr. Naidu gave a call to Tirupati TDP constituency in-charge Chadalawada Krishnamurthy to lead a dharna in front of the hospital from Tuesday to exert pressure on the government to address problems of the hospital on a war-footing.
