Srinivasa Mangapuram Brahmotsavam

The annual Brahmotsavam at the TTD’s Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Brahmotsavam will begin at Srinivasa Mangapuram temple, Tirupati, from February 10, while ‘Ankurarpanam’, considered the initiating ritual, will be held the previous day. ‘Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam’, the purificatory ritual when a rich paste of aromatic substances is smeared on the inner walls of the sanctum sanctorum, will be conducted on February 5. During an inspection of the arrangements at the temple ahead of the annual fete, Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao gave orders to ensure facilities at the temple.
