Six killed, over 50 injured in Andhra Pradesh road accidents

As many as six persons were killed and more then 50 sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

Two persons in Kurnool district, K. Chandrashekar (40) and Mohan Goud (10) were killed and 32 suffered injuries when a truck hit a stationary truck at Chintakonda Dinna near Allagadda.

In Prakasham district, a teacher M. Neeraja (39) killed and her husband M. Leela Krishna suffered injuries when a speeding tractor hit their bike at Maddiralapadu village. In the second accident, a lorry driver Babji (40) was killed and cleaner P. Raju suffered critical injuries when the lorry fell from an overbridge near Thokapalli village, under Pedaravedu police station limit.

One person was killed and 17 others sustained injuries when a private bus rammed a lorry at Rompicherla under Narsaraopet Rural police station limits in Guntur district. In Krishna district, an unidentified person was killed on the spot in a hit and run case at Munagacherla village near Nandigama on Friday.
