The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the premises of Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer G. Durgaprasada Rao’s residence on Saturday and seized properties worth Rs.1.10 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income. According to ACB DSP P. Ramachandra Rao, the raids were conducted here and in Visakhapatnam following orders from higher-ups.
The ACB team here recovered one kg gold and silver, valuables worth Rs.10 lakh, documents related to fixed deposits worth Rs.18 lakh, plots and a duplex house here.
Mr. Ramachandra Rao said that the accused was arrested and would be produced in Vijayawada ACB court on Sunday.
