NCC cadets of several schools both Vizianagaram and Srikakulam proved their talent in firing, self defence, sports, games communication skills in the week-long training programme that ended on Friday in Gayatri College.
14th batallion commanding officer SK Shah said the students’ performance was up to the mark and hoped that the training would help them in academic studies also.
He said that many NCC cadets were able to get jobs in Army and other organisations after completion of their academic studies. Gayatri College principal Pulakhandam Srinivasa Rao and others taught the youngsters about the importance of NCC which would make them self-disciplined in all aspects.
