A day after police halted his ‘Odarpu yatra' in Nalgonda district, Congress MP from Kadapa Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday called on Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to brief him about his side of version.

During the 45-minute interaction with the Governor at Raj Bhavan, the MP is said to have explained in detail the purpose of his yatra to Warangal and the circumstances under which it was foiled by the police. The opposition parties, particularly the Telangana Rashtra Samiti, had deliberately politicised his tour. It is understood that Mr. Jagan expressed resentment at his three-hour long detention inside Secunderabad-Guntur Inter City Express at Wangapally railway station.
