The Guntur Municipal Corporation has launched a foundation course for all competitive examinations. The course would be available to students from Class 6.
Guntur West MLA M. Venugopala Reddy, MLC AS Ramakrishna and Municipal Commissioner S. Nagalakshmi launched the course at the SKBC Municipal Corporation High School at Venugopala Nagar on Friday.
Member of Parliament Galla Jayadev launched the course at Sanjeevaiah Nagar.
Mr. Reddy said that the novel initiative of Minister for Municipal Administration P. Narayana and Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao would help students of municipal schools to prepare for any competitive examinations, including the IIT.
