Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao of Hyderabad High Court on Monday ordered that there shall be no demolition of the masjid and burial ground near Kaleswara Rao market in Vijayawada. He was dealing with a petition filed by the Muslim Youth United Front which complained that in the ongoing demolition drive of the administration for road widening, due process of law was not being followed.

The judge stayed the demolition notice issued by the authorities and directed for a counter to be filed.
