Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao has asked the officials to expedite the land acquisition process so as to complete the Polavaram project on time.
Addressing a review meeting here on Monday, Mr. Krishna Rao said that the diversion road also needs to be constructed to facilitate blasting and other operations within the project area. Polavaram Authority has requested that Rs.250 crores released by the Central government may be adjusted immediately, he said.
