MLA Kagita Venkata Rao has said the Revenue authorities will come out with a report on encroachment of government land in Pedana town .
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Mr. Rao said the Pedana municipal authorities and Revenue officials were conducting a survey to identify encroachments. “Officials will also resurvey land encroached upon by some individuals in Pedana over a period of time.
Besides, they will study the encroachment of the Pydammathalli temple land,” he said.
Mr. Rao attributed the delay in setting up the proposed textile park in Pedana to lack of availability of land (nearly 15 acres required).
