Chandrababu Naidu goes around Tokyo

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is currently visiting Japan to attract investments, went on a tour of Tokyo City on Wednesday.

Mr. Naidu and the delegation accompanying him travelled by train for about half an hour on an elevated concrete track. Mr. Naidu also visited the venue where 2020 Olympics are scheduled to be held.

Later, during his interaction with JGC Corporation Chairman, the Chief Minister invited the company to make investments in petrochemicals corridor. The company also evinced interest in food processing sector.

While interacting with representatives of Toshiba, he suggested to the company to become a partner in setting up of the proposed Energy University in the State. He also wanted the company to look into feasibility of a smart grid in Visakhapatnam on the lines of the one planned by Fuji electric company at Vijayawada.

Later, Mr. Naidu met the CEO of Honda Company motor cycle operations and held discussions on possibilities of investing in the State.
