Anti-terrorism Day observed

Anti-Terrorism Day was observed by the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Friday.

Divisional Railway Manager Chadralekha Mukherjee took the pledge and administered the same to all officers and staff of all departments. All the units and stations over Waltair Division observed Anti-Terrorism dDy, according to Divisional Commercial Manager P. Ch. Ramu Naidu. Anti-terrorism day is observed throughout the nation on May 21 every year to commemorate the death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

The objective behind the observance of Anti-Terrorism Day is to wean away the people from terrorism & violence and to generate awareness in the country among all sections of people.
