Bicycle bomb kills 10 in northern Afghanistan

Afghan authorities say that a bicycle rigged with explosives has blown up in a bazaar in northern Afghanistan, killing at least 10 people, including a police officer.

The Afghan Interior Ministry says the blast struck the bazaar late Friday in the Khanabad district of Kunduz province.

The ministry said in a statement on Saturday that 24 people were also wounded in the attack, including five women and a policeman.
