The overwhelming public response to the open house meetings of Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi at Raj Nivas from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. has necessitated some regulations, the office of the Lt. Governor said on Saturday.

Accordingly, the participation in the open house sessions on Mondays through Fridays will be limited to 40 entry passes each day. The passes will be issued on a first come first serve basis from 4.30 p.m., a press communiqué said.

The sessions are open only to members of the public.

There will be separate open house meetings for government servants both serving and retired, on Saturdays from noon to 1 p.m.

People who have grievances to be resolved should ideally meet at the first instance, the Head of Departments/Secretaries to Government who are also holding public hearings on all working days from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at their respective offices. The Raj Nivas should preferably be the last resort after exhausting the grievance redressal mechanism at the Department-level.

The sessions are open only to members of the public; separate meet for govt. servants
