Mumbai: Over 78,000 municipal school students of Class IV and VII will be taken on an excursion to Kidzania this year. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Wednesday sanctioned over ₹4 crore for the trip. While ₹2.5 crore will be spent on entry fee, ₹1.5 crore will be spent on transportation charges.

Normally, each child is charged ₹950 – ₹1,200 for entering the theme park. But, Kidzania has offered the civic school students a concessional fee of ₹325. The entry fee will also cover lunch, a pack of fruit juice, and a pack of biscuit and Chocos.

The Education department feels Kidzania is a safe indoor park, where students could participate in over 60 activities to play characters like doctors, actors, chef, mechanic, actor and pilot.
