The Hindu Book Collection Drive, which received tremendous response from the public over the past one month, will come to a close on August 30.

Book lovers can drop their used or new books, which could be of help to schoolchildren and encourage teenagers to enter the world of knowledge, at all the showrooms of Amana Toyota, selected outlets of Indian Oil Corporation, and The Hindu office, Kozhikode.

The drive, launched on June 30, is part of The Hindu’ s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity. The collected books will be given to selected government schools in the Kozhikode region. The event is powered by Amana Toyota. Indian Oil Corporation is the associate sponsor. Persons or organisations offering more number of books will be awarded special prizes.
