RSC flayed for hosting ‘Godanam Mahadanam’

The Kerala Sasthra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP) has strongly criticised the Kozhikode Regional Science Centre (RSC) and Planetarium for hosting the ‘Godanam Mahadanam’ event at which the ‘medicinal values’ of cow’s urine were extolled.

Parishad leaders said the attempt to turn the RSC into a centre for propagating unscientific things and fake findings was highly deplorable. The RSC had played a vital role in creating scientific temperament in the minds of visitors and it should not be spoiled by changing it as a venue for endorsing unscientific propagations. In a press release here, KSSP leaders Asokan Ilavani and A.P. Premanand said the move to change RSC as a platform to spread unscientific beliefs would only malign the image of the firm.
