P. Abdul Aziz, Assistant Professor of Malayalam at Farook College, Kozhikode, has been suspended from duty for investigation into a case involving him. The Principal of the college informed in a press release that he was suspended on July 25 following reports that there was a case registered with the Feroke police against him. However, Mr. Aziz was on leave from July 1, 2015. He surrendered to the police on Sunday after a student accused him of raping her. The Principal said that the college had no connection to the incident or the case.
