The November edition of The Hindu Shutterbug photography contest is open, at >www.thehindushutterbug.com . Readers can register, upload, comment, share and vote for pictures.
The theme is 'Chennai after the rains'. Precipitation transforms the city, affecting changes both beautiful and unseemly. The spectacle over the Marina, typical monsoon eats, muggy afternoons, the terrible state of our roads, chronic civic inconveniences; readers can draw from all of these and more.
One winner and six other finalists will be picked by Photo Editor D. Krishnan, who will also interact with participants via their posts. Register and upload only at >www.thehindushutterbug.com .
The winning photograph will be featured in the City pages of The Hindu and top entries will be displayed online, at >www.thehindu.com/chennai . Submitted images will be sent to The Hindu archives for future use, with due credit.
Strike a conversation over pictures you share on social media, at >www.facebook.com/chennaicentral on Facebook and @ChennaiCentral on Twitter.
The contest closes on November 11.
