Stella Maris College celebrated 69th College Day on its campus on Saturday. The event was presided over by Apollo Hospitals Group Chairman, Prathap C. Reddy.
“Three of my daughters graduated from this college and have made me proud,” said Mr. Reddy while addressing the audience. “All young women from this college show determination and stay focused on their dreams. You are all gifted to study in this prestigious institution, and just as my daughters have made me feel proud, one day all your parents will feel the same.”
College Principal Sr. Jasintha Quadras read out the annual report and pointed out how the past year had been eventful, challenging and exciting.
Seven retiring faculty members were felicitated for their service to the institution. The event ended with a cultural performance.
