Polls a war between good and evil: Vijayakant

April 12, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 08:48 am IST - CHENNAI:

Exhorting people to end the corrupt rule of the two Dravidian parties, DMDK leader Vijayakant, on Monday said the upcoming Assembly elections was a war between the good and the evil. Launching his election campaign from Kolathur and Gummudipoondi here, the constituency of DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin, Mr. Vijayakant said the two major parties should first introspect before ridiculing others. “Only letter pad parties have come forward to have an alliance with them,” he said, after launching his election campaign from Gummudipoondy near here. The sitting MLA from the constituency, C.H. Sekar, was recently expelled from the party for openly criticising the DMDK’s move to align with the People’s Welfare Front.
