Chennai youth goes missing after boarding wrong bus

Twenty-six-year-old Pravin Kumar from Chennai has been reported missing since Saturday morning.

Mr. Kumar, who suffers from mild mental retardation, was waiting to board a bus at the Adyar Gate bus stop, with his mother, Vijayalakshmi. As the bus arrived, his mother got in but Mr. Kumar who was standing outside boarded another bus instead and left.

After his mother found out, she tried to trace the number of the bus her son boarded, but in vain. She then rushed to the Teynampet police station and lodged a missing complaint.

Mr. Kumar is working in a star hotel as a helper. He was working a red T-shirt and trousers when the incident took place.
