Singer harassment: court orders interrogation of accused

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court ordered custodial interrogation of an accused held for harassing singer Chinmayi Sripada on Twitter.

On October 21, the police arrested Rajan, who was working in the Tirupur collectorate, and Saravana Perumal, an assistant professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Following a petition from the police, the Court ordered custodial interrogation of Rajan.
