As part of Christmas celebration, a ‘Teddy House’ was created at the Central Atrium, Express Avenue Mall. It was inaugurated by Dr. Meena Muthiah, in the presence of Saroj Goenka, Chairperson, EIPL, and Managing Director of EIPL Kavita Singhania. Actor Anaswara Kumar, playback singer Maalavika Manoj and Aishwarya Menon were present on the occasion.

In her inaugural address, Dr. Meena Muthiah recalled her association with Mrs. Saroj Goenka and said that the Teddy House is a symbol of religious unity. She wished every child and visitor to the mall a rejoicing time at the Teddy House. Mrs. Saroj Goenka was all praise for the team who set up the unique structure.

Mrs. Kavita Singhania explained that the double-storey house has a balcony, 30 beautifully dressed teddy dolls, ancient clock, lamp, photos with frame, flower vase, wall lights, chandelier lights, a staircase, doors, and windows like a real home to herald Christmas. A mini giant wheel with the teddies and a beautiful dance floor are the added attractions.

Rajarishi Tiwari, chief of events and relations, introduced the guests to the audience and said that Papa Santa will be visiting Express Avenue from December 23 to 25 with lots of gifts to be given to the visitors of the mall. Gift hampers and gift vouchers will be given to customers and guests coming to the Mall.

Actress Anaswara Kumar said that the Teddy House reminded her of her childhood days and said that it was a fun –filled experience to be part of the event. Malavika Manoj said she felt extremely happy to be part of the Christmas celebrations at the biggest mall in the city.
