Techie slashes wrist before hanging himself in Bengaluru

A 26-year-old techie slashed his wrist before hanging himself from the ceiling in a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Narayana Reddy Layout on Thursday.

The deceased, Ananth Pule, was from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. He had been recently transferred from Goa to Bengaluru. He was staying in his friend’s PG accommodation till he could find a house for himself.

On Thursday, he stayed back at the PG while his friend went to work. The incident came to light when his friend returned home.

The Parappana Agrahara police recovered a note in which Pule apologised to his friend for committing suicide in his room. The police are trying to ascertain the cause for him taking the extreme step.
