Rowdy booked for setting 11 vehicles on fire

The HAL police have booked a 20-year-old rowdy under Goonda Act after he was arrested for setting 11 vehicles on fire which were parked outside a residential complex in Annasandrapalya in HAL on November 11.

The accused Tufail Ahmed is involved in 17 criminal cases which are pending against him.

He has set fire to the vehicle to take revenge against the building owner. The accused used to smoke ganja behind the building and the owner had objected to it. Enraged by this Tufail had decided to set his vehicle on fire in the midnight, which created panic among the residents, the police said.
