The much awaited results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) were announced on Friday. The scores are a gateway to seats in medical and dental institutions across the country.
Of the 10.9 lakh candidates who appeared for the test, 6.11 lakh candidates have qualified for NEET. As many as 712 candidates have written the test in Kannada. Sankeerth Sadananda from Delhi Public School (South), Bengaluru, has bagged all-India rank 4.
These candidates will have to compete to bag 65,170 MBBS seats in 470 medical colleges and 25,730 BDS seats in 308 dental colleges.
