Home guard killed while trying to alight moving train

A woman home guard was killed when she was trying to get off a moving train in Railway Gollahalli on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

The deceased, Anusuya, 32, a resident of Arjuna Betahalli, was working as security staff at a Malleshwaram Metro station and was returning home after work.

The city railway police rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post mortem. Further investigation is on.
