Deadline extended

December 03, 2014 01:10 pm | Updated April 07, 2016 02:32 am IST - Bengaluru:

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday directed the State government to receive applications till December 8 from members of the Karnataka State Private School Managements Federation seeking permission for English-medium schools, from classes one to seven.

Justice A.S. Bopanna passed the interim order on a petition filed by the federation. Earlier, the court had extended the deadline till December 5. While the schools will have to resubmit their applications with newly prescribed processing and recognition fee, the High Court has kept in abeyance the other conditions imposed for grant of recognition.
