The National Judicial Academy, in collaboration with Karnataka Judicial Academy, will hold a conference on ‘Administration of criminal justice: issues and challenges’ from June 14 on the KJA premises. The conference will focus on constitutional origins, role of courts, fair trial rights, locating victims, sentencing policy and enhancing access to justice under the Indian criminal justice system. The aim of the conference is to facilitate sharing of knowledge and experiences amongst the judges from neighbouring States.
