Arvind Kejriwal to hold roadshow in Bangalore on Saturday

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) founder Arvind Kejriwal will arrive in the city on Saturday as part of his two-day visit to Karnataka.

He will lead a roadshow on Saturday that is likely to affect the movement of traffic in some parts of the city.

Route to be taken

The roadshow will begin at 9.30 a.m. near Hebbal flyover. It will pass through Ganganagar, Indian Express, Lalbagh, Jayanagar 4th Block, Gandhi Bazaar, Vijay Nagar, Rajajinagar, Shankar Math, Malleswaram 8th Block and a few other areas before concluding at the War Memorial at 7.30 p.m.

The police have asked citizens to cooperate with regard to traffic diversions.

The police have beefed up security.

All Deputy Commissioners of Police and at least 50 inspectors and Assistant Commissioner of Police-level officers have been deployed to monitor and supervise the situation. Apart from this, Karnataka State Reserve Police and City Armed Reserve personnel will be deployed for security purposes.

Mr. Kejriwal will lead a roadshow in Chickballapur on Sunday followed by a public rally at Freedom Park in Bangalore at 3 p.m.
