95 more autos booked

Continuing the drive against the erring autorickshaw drivers, the traffic police booked 95 cases on Friday.

Police officers, in plainclothes, went around Madiwala and booked drivers who demanded excess fare or refused to ply. The police have seized the autorickshaws and slapped fines on the drivers. Among the 95 cases, 33 drivers did not have the required permit, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-East) Babu Rajendra Prasad.
