YSRCP seeks action against polluting units

YSR Congress Party MP V. Vijayasai Reddy on Thursday led a delegation of party leaders from Visakhapatnam to New Delhi and urged Union Minister of Environment and Forests Harshavardhan to rein in and punish companies indulging in blatant violation of pollution norms at Atchutapuram SEZ.

The delegation comprising YSRCP Anakapalle Parliamentary Constituency in-charge Gudivada Amarnath and others also met Union Minister of Defence Nirmala Seetharaman and urged her to resolve the long pending problems of rehabilitation and resettlement of people displaced by Naval Alternate Operation Base (NAOB) in Rambilli mandal of the district.
