The Hindu Young World painting contest on Dec. 24

The much awaited annual The Hindu Young World painting competition is back and will be held here on December 24 at Sri Veda Dharma Rakshana Sabha, near Guruvayoor Temple, N E Layout, Seethammadhara.

This event is sponsored by Thyrocare with Arrow Publications as Knowledge Partner.

The competition will be held in two categories: Junior Classes : 4 – 6 and Senior Classes :7 – 9.

The selected students will receive an intimation from The Hindu , with the venue and time details. Finalists need to come to the venue, with their intimation letter / sms, at their own cost.

Entry for selected students will start at 8.30 a.m and the competition will start at 10.30 a.m sharp. Duration of the competition is two hours. Final topic will be announced at the venue.

Prizes will be distributed to winners the same afternoon at the venue. All finalists will be given trophies and certificates.

The paintings become the sole property of The Hindu and will not be returned.
