Telugu Yuvata city president Lodagala Krishna on Monday ended his indefinite fast seeking allotment of 60 square yards towards house sites to the poor.

Mr. Krishna and Telugu Yuvatha activists went on a cycle yatra in the 72 wards of the city and collected applications from people and submitted them to the District Collector and the Minister for Municipal Administration.

He began his fast at the Gandhi statue on December 19 demanding that favourable action be taken on the applications submitted.

On Monday, acting on the instructions of the higher ups, MRO Murali assured him that the relevant GOs would be implemented and made him call off his fast.
